Gazetteer

This project is a responsive web application designed to provide detailed country profiles, offering information such as demographic, climatic, geographical, and other key data. The system pulls data from various third-party APIs, including OpenCage, Open Weather, and Geonames, to present accurate and up-to-date country information. Built with a mobile-first approach, the website works seamlessly across both mobile and desktop devices. The project demonstrates my skills in working with APIs, handling dynamic data, and ensuring a smooth, responsive design that adapts to any screen size.

The app allows users to explore countries by viewing key details such as population, currency, current weather, and more, presented through a clean and interactive map interface. The data is fetched using AJAX calls to PHP routines, with dynamic updates displayed in modal dialogs for a rich user experience. The integration of map features, like overlays, markers, and zooming, further enhances the app’s interactivity. This project not only highlights my front-end and back-end development skills but also showcases my ability to integrate external data sources to deliver an engaging, informative experience for users.

This project is a responsive web application designed to manage company personnel records, allowing users to create, read, update, and delete employee information. It connects to a backend server and database, ensuring seamless data handling and a smooth user experience. Built with a mobile-first approach, the app works efficiently across both desktop and mobile devices. This project showcases my full-stack development skills, including backend integration, database management, and user-friendly design.

The application features a clean and intuitive design, allowing users to quickly search for employees, departments, and locations. Its responsive layout ensures it works perfectly on all devices, whether mobile or desktop. With the ability to add, edit, and delete records, the app is built for ease of use.

Data is organized alphabetically, allowing users to effortlessly find records across all tables. To ensure efficient navigation, the filter button is disabled for the department and location tables when there’s no data to filter. Furthermore, departments and locations cannot be deleted if they have employees linked to them, ensuring that important information remains intact. These features contribute to the app's smooth operation and reliable data management.
